Calving season marks the beginning of this movement that sees millions of animals make the difficult journey from the southern Serengeti to the distant Maasai Mara. .

23rd Feb 2019: Arusha
Welcome to Kilimanjaro Tanzania! Clear the customs and retrieve your baggage by yourself upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who will be holding a sign on which says your name or a group name; transferred by a car / van to Mount Meru hotel for dinner and overnight.

24th – 26th Feb 2019: Tarangire
Early morning breakfast and check out at Mt. Meru hotel and transfer to Tarangire National Park for Birding. Enjoy a total of Three full days of game drive in Tarangire National Park tracking birds, the park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Baobab strewn cliffs, Acacia woodland, swamp and the Tarangire River itself, the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to watch elephants. It is also the habitat for Masai giraffes, Tree climbing python, various gazelles and antelopes, buffalos, lions, leopards, baboons and a hundred different types of birds

27th Feb 2019: Manyara
Early morning breakfast, check out Ang’ata Camps and proceed to Lake Manyara for Birding. Enjoy a full day in Manyara National Park, the park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forest, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamp and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life’s as this area is known for an abundance of bird lives as more than 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird.In the evening we will have dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari lodge – Karatu.

28th Feb 2019: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast 07:00am at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, we will depart toward the Serengeti National Park, with an option to visit Olduvai Gorge. It is within this steep sided ravine that Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world’s most important archaeological discoveries in the 1950s. Here in a small museum we are able to see evidence of our ancestors that have been dated back 2.5 million years. After a Picnic lunch we will drive into the Serengeti itself and the rest of the afternoon is spent for game viewing in the vast plains that are broken only by stands of acacia trees and the occasional kopje. In the evening we will have dinner and overnight at Mbugani Tented Camp – Seronera.

1st & 2nd March 2019: Serengeti
Two full days tracking the bird spices from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich, we will have an early morning game drive to witness the sunrise over the savannah and see the plains come to life. The Serengeti has more than 500 bird species recorded; it is also one of Africa’s Endemic Bird which hosting five notable bird species found nowhere else in the world. These Serengeti specials are easy to locate and identify within their restricted range
. Tonight we spend another nights sleeping in the African bush at Mbugani Tented Camp

3rd March 2019
Depart after breakfast and set off for Ndutu, a part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area that shares the Southern Serengeti ecosystem. Millions of wildebeest call this area a home as they give birth to their babies. All the big cats, especially cheetahs and lions, follow the herds to enjoy a wide selection of prey. Witness the Cycle of Life, as some wildebeests are born, while others fall victim to their predators. We will spend a full day game drive here and thereafter check in at Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

4th – 6th March 2017.
Three Full days of game viewing in Ndutu Plains / Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in the evening we will have our dinner and overnights at Ndutu Safari Lodge

7th March 2019: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Check out Ndutu Safari lodge after lunch and proceed to Ngorongoro highland, game drive on the way from Ndutu Plain and thereafter we will drive to Ngorongoro Crater which is the largest intact caldera in the world. And along the way if wish to visit, a Maasai community welcomes us into their village on a special visit. Enjoy a rare opportunity to view traditional singing and dancing, witness an initiation ritual, and learn about this fascinating culture from the village chief and his wives. We will spend a night on the crater rim at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge.

8th March 2019: Ngorongoro Crater
Arise early morning for breakfast and your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, perhaps the prettiest place in all of Tanzania. Often referred to as “Africa’s Garden of Eden,” the crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered by many to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. It’s the largest un-flooded and unbroken caldera on Earth, formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. Now it’s a home to over 30,000 animals, including all members of The Big Five. You will enjoy a full day game drive along with a picnic lunch with the hippos at the Hippo Pool before beginning your ascend and drive straight back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Mt. Meru hotel.

9th March 2019:
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Check out at Mt. Meru hotel after breakfast, and transfer to Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight back home. This depends with your flight schedule, and that will be the end of our Safari Services.
